I don't know how this affects the original poster. but the BBC, once the one of two stations you could receive anytime day or night in the U.S. has reduced it's broadcasts to North America. The other was Radio Moscow. :-) The radio feeds are as you said are available over the Internet and via satellite, but I think the real reason is money. Many NPR stations pay them for the rights to rebroadcast BBC news. While they are unable to charge end users for their programs (BBC prime is the exception), if you listen to them on NPR, you will probably donate to that station and that will encourage them to buy the BBC programing. Personaly, I'm not very happy with the BBC, to them if you are an Isrishman who blows up innocent people, you are a terrorist, if you are not Irish, you are an "activist". Geoff. -- Geoffrey S.
