I really have to know what this obsession of your with college degrees is based on. For many, a college degree is an impediment. Going to a trade or professional school (in the English model) would be much more useful, productive and satisfying. For others, college is fine. But so many do majors in totally useless fields that have no application in the real world... people need to keep their personal interests separate from career goals. A broad sampling of both the arts and the disciplines is good for those uncertain of their career choice. Those who want to go into radio and who study communications are at a big disadvantage. And then there are the students who are bored of formal education, and learn better on their own. If you had a formal education, then you wouldn't be spending all your time trying to prove yourself on these boards, from feelings of inadequacy; maybe, someone should email Univision, with a copy of all your posts, during working hours. Those with degress in broadcast communications, could run circles around you. |
