Nothing wrong with being able to afford the highest quality
expensive radio like a Sony. But there is something wrong with you if
you get your kicks from putting others down for buying something less.
Is that how you get your jollys? Get a life!!

I own many radios - and the only thing ****ty here is your pathetic
need to put down others because of their radio choices. Do you even
have a radio? The double "reject" in your e-mail says it all.

Make sure the RF gain is turned all the way to maximum.

Make sure the filter switch is set to its widest.

If ther's a local/dx switch, set it to dx.

Set the mode on AM.

Tune away...

Ya oughtta hear lots of stuff.

Excellent advice, the 909 has many of these features.

It also has a lock button, indicated by the little "door key" symbol.
If this symbol shows up on your LCD readout, your reception will be
seriously compromised, as changes to tuning and volume and everything
else will be impossible. Make sure this "key" symbol is shut off!
