For all the newbies and returnees to shortwave radio who can't seem to
pick up anything and wonder if their radio is defunct or they are doing
something wrong...Dont Worry. The ionosphere is in terrible shape due
to sun emissions. Things will improve. In the meantime you can get a
lot of the programs on the internet without fading, buzzing or
distortion. Try Republic Broadcasting and 365 live as starters.
