Default Got my Lo-Kata ADF

It just came in the mail today. Audio performance is similar to the Lowe
receivers. MW/LW performance is a little bit more sensitive than the Grundig
Satellit 650.
It needs some cleaning of controls/switches, but overall it is in good
condition. If you find one of these, make sure that you get it with the
optional ADF antenna. I believe that this is required to make it work.

It appears that you don't need the loop antenna with this unit, unless you
want to use it in the ADF mode. With a long wire hooked up to the external
antenna input, there is no sign of IMD, or any images. I saw two crystals on
the main board, so it may be a dual conversion unit.................I am not
sure yet. I e-mailed David Searle to find out a bit more info. It should
prove interesting.
It is one of the best LW/MW receivers I have seen in a long time.
