I'm compiling a FAQ for this idiosyncratic radio:
http://simart.googlepages.com/faq.html. There's an interesting way to get airband frequencies 129.92-130.04Mhz using the memory presets. This is a fun radio, but it's different. Duncan Ross posted a brilliant review on the KA1121_DE1121 yahoo group, and I love these quotes: "Despite being easily the better receiver, the DE1103 is plain and dull. The newcomer [DE1121] is fiddly, frustrating and slightly less capable but much more fun to use in a masochistic way and the station names and unattended recordings make all the difference." "If the DE1103 is the DXer's friend, the DE1121 is it's idiot little brother that can't be relied upon but knows all the girls. Buy one." -Art |
