Default The Luxembourg Effect in the former Soviet Union

I notice that the Russian-born poet and folk singer Mark Belitsky has
a new CD, "Radio Luxembourg".. Songs from it were in an HBO movie
about the boxer \Nikolai Valuev.

From the title I should guess that the long wave powerhouse had as
much effect, with its music not available locally, on Soviet popular
culture as its signal had on the ionosphere.
