While it's easy to condemn shill bidding, and it's technically illegal,
hopefully we all realize that it's a common practice in both live and
online auctions. If you go to an auction house where high-end items are
being sold (jewelry, antiques, etc.) do you not think that the seller
and/or auctioneer have people in the audience bidding up the price?
