![]() Why do conservatives listen to lie after lie by republicans and believe every bit of it? The same reason they believe that republicans are conservatives. Most are inflicted with a terminal case of the simples. Conceptual thinking or anything that can't be reduced to either/or, right/wrong, black/ white is not only confusing for them it also disturbs their sense of well being. Thus the inordinately high number of evangelical Christians, Southerners, white trash in the ranks. A very sad phenomonon when you ponder it. |

Tell THAT to all the incumbents who went down last November... There were no Air America affiliates in most of the markets and regions where that happened... and even where there were, the listening level was so low (with one exception) that it would have made no statistical difference. And, in any case, those who could listen to Air America are already on the left side of the Democratic spectrum, and there were probably zero votes swung by AA. |

says... Bob Miller wrote: Good news on the liberal front: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2007/0...e_n_39897.html How does one sell something that is worthless? The republicans taught them how, they've been very good at it themselves. It's all in the "technique". Say it the right way, and they will swallow it. Simple. BDK |
