![]() During February and March, the Bowie-based Radio And Television Museum will host a display of contemporary world band radios entitled "Today's Short Wave" at the Kingstown and Martha Washington branches of the Fairfax County Public Library system. While the displays highlight current examples of commercially available shortwave receivers, there also will be some classics from yesteryear. In addition, there will be QSL cards, books, and other materials "designed to show the viewer world band radio is alive and well in the age of the internet"..... from DCRTV |
