anyone use a t2fd here? i'm considering replacing my longwire with a t2fd-- but i can't mount it on a slope-- will i be wasting my time and money? I replaced my EF-SWL with an RF Systems T2FD cropped to 35' and the difference was amazing. Stations which were heard but noisy became enjoyable, and stations which I didn't know were there popped out, not strong but good enough to listen to. Don't worry about the slope. It helps make the antenna more omnidirectional above all but its certainly not required to get good results. |
