Default Drake SW8 on ebay

In eBay terms, that's pretty low. That, in addition to keeping all his
feedback "private" so you can't see comments, should set off alarms even if
he didn't have the reputation he does.

Forgetting for the moment that we all know of RadioMart's rep, why should
a
97.5% positive feedback set off alarms? Seems like a high % to me! I
mean,
you're always gonna have some people ya just can't please (according to
Abe
Lincoln), so I would thing that, given that fact, again 97.5% seems good!

If you're looking for an SW8, wait for a truly later model offered by an
honest seller with a serial that begins with at least 6B.

This information should set off an alarm:

Feedback: 97.5% Positive

I look at it this way: a 97.5% feedback rating means that out of 200
customers, five of them are ****ed enough to give negative feedback.
Granted that you'll get those who can't be pleased no matter what, and
those who shouldn't use eBay without a chaperone, but in a market where
you pretty much live and die by your reputation, a 97.5 for a
high-volume seller is gonna cause a lot of eBayers to wonder how that
seller has managed to **** off that many people.

In fairness, I'll look at when the negative feedback was incurred, how
the guy has been dealing with the rest of his customers lately, and what
any recent negative feedback says... but a 97.5 for anyone with over 100
feedback raises a flag for me.

I have sold to radiomart (gottahaveit), and purchased from him
without incident. Like all auctions, it is "buyer beware". I, like
others have seen other than honest descriptions from him. Look at the
pictures, ask direct questions. Pay very close attention to what is
said in the description, AND to what is NOT said. This is the best way
to protect yourselves on Ebay with anyone. Be very selective about
what you buy and pay attention.

Thanks to the knowledgable people here who will step up and correct an
error for everyone's benefit.
