I watched China Central TV's (CCTV) annual 4-1/2 hour New Year's Eve TV Gala
today. Unlike previous Chinese New Year Galas where a Dog, Rabbit or Dragon
for example would be very prominent, there were absolutely no depictions of
a Pig to be found this year.

Years ago,there were some Pig Sandwich eat joints around here.I bought a
lot of those Pig Sandwiches before,used to be one at Mart 51 shopping
center on Terry Road.

You ever heard of Pig Meat Martin before?

Read an article where tons of companies were forced to remove any
reference to 'PIG' in china due to their wanting to be nice to their
islamic population, what is there 200 billion people in china and
about 1 million islamic? I don't get it as china is know to be a
assho#@ to most their population, now why are they making nice?

They know where their oil is coming from. It doesn't pay to upset your
suppliers (or to bomb the hell out of them)
