Yeah, that station where your name is not on the ownership papers and where you signed QSL's as the 'General Manager'. Also signed as 'David F. Gleason'. If you care to check, Radio Musical, Cia. Ltda, a limited responsibility corporation, was established in June of 1964 and I was the sole shareholder and the "agent" was Dr. Isaac Cevallos, my attorney. I am sure that the commercial section of the US Embassy / Quito can find this for you. Edweenie, you're full of ****! In other words, you are not going to check. You could, and you would find out the entire company was in my name. |

So long as it's there for discussion of HD radio, who cares who created it? Besides, someone who finds this group in the google directory isn't going to know (or care) who created it. Even so, there appears to be very little interest. Maybe this will change, but thus far it's amazing how little activity there's been in the HD radio group. You must have missed the ongoing infomercial. It is very entertaining. Take the fact that it insists a prototype chip exists before it is fabricated. Hilarity ensues. -- Telamon Ventura, California |

Don't expect a Calipornia public school dropout to understand anything even remotely similiar to logic. Very funny. snip I was certainly NOT refering to you. In fact I find your posts most informative and an interesting insite into the business. Keep posting! By all means keep on posting the BS. Very entertaining. -- Telamon Ventura, California |

Practically nobody listens; it's still a cheap marketing tool for Disney, though. |

Don't expect a Calipornia public school dropout to understand anything even remotely similiar to logic. Very funny. 1. I never went to school in Califonia. 2. I did not go to public school. 3. I dropped out of the Colegio Americano in Quito to put my own radio staiton on the air. 4. I was deans list for many semesters in college 10 years later when i did my university studies part time while working. 5. Logic involves analyzing facts and drawing conclusions. Ams moving to FM and becoming more successful indicates that more will do the same thing... that is logic. At this point David, the question is why are you spending so much time on this group and others, defending HD radio and your personal life as well. You said a while ago that it doesn't take much time from your schedule to make all these responses but it's beginning to look like you must be compensated in some way to make it worth your time. There are just too many posts on this subject from someone that supposedly has more important responsibilities in the radio industry than arguing on a Usenet group. No one on this group is going to have any say in the outcome of HD radio, with the possible exception of someone participating in a listener survey. So why do you care? |

In order to argue a point one has to provide information supporting one's position. This information must support one's position in a logical way or it does not sway anyone else's thinking. He can not prove that his arguments are valid. He falls back to a position of having "special knowledge" that no one else can verify. So why do you care? Good question. -- Telamon Ventura, California |

I guess we can take your refusal to answer the compensation question as an indication that you are in some way compensated. It's clear that this is all a game for you but how about giving it a rest. |
