![]() David Eduardo wrote: "HD Radio Fan" wrote in message ... "David Eduardo" wrote The same company started simulcasting KTAR (AM) on FM in Phoenix, and 6 months later, the news / talk format was only on FM. (That is what "slowly moving" means... a lengthy transition to get people used to the idea of finding the station on FM, not AM). Don't expect a Calipornia public school dropout to understand anything even remotely similiar to logic. Very funny. 1. I never went to school in Califonia. 2. I did not go to public school. 3. I dropped out of the Colegio Americano in Quito to put my own radio staiton on the air. Yeah, that station where your name is not on the ownership papers and where you signed QSL's as the 'General Manager'. Also signed as 'David F. Gleason'. Oh, that's right, 'Eduardo' didn't show up until c.2000. 4. I was deans list for many semesters in college 10 years later when i did my university studies part time while working. 5. Logic involves analyzing facts and drawing conclusions. Ams moving to FM and becoming more successful indicates that more will do the same thing... that is logic. It sure does! That's how I discovered that you're a phoney baloney fake! I analysed the facts and drew conclusions based upon those facts. You haven't responded, so I thought I'd post this again, boy. dxAce Michigan USA |

Ltda, a limited responsibility corporation, was established in June of 1964 and I was the sole shareholder and the "agent" was Dr. Isaac Cevallos, my attorney. I am sure that the commercial section of the US Embassy / Quito can find this for you. Oh, that's right, 'Eduardo' didn't show up until c.2000. As I said, I never used the name (and still don't) for anything but 1) legal papers that require the full name and, 2) Newsgroups, going back to The Well and CIS in the 80's. It's a baptismal "given name" and for most things I have never, and still don't, use it. 4. Back to the subject: the reality is that HD is here and DXing will adapt to it, hopefully with the introduction of a communications grade receiver with HD on it. |

Monterey,Mexico,MacDonalds restaurant Monterey news paper here somewhere) I visited Mexico.Reynosa,Matamoros,Rio Bravo,Gral Bravo, (depending on which old Rand McNally road atlas you look at,Gral Bravo might be called Dr.Bravo,China,or Gral Bravo.I like Gral Bravo,it's a litlle bitty fiendly little town.Bienevidos Gral Bravo) Nueva Laredo,a bunch of other towns too.I reckon I can say for one week (seven days) I lived in Mexico.I didn't get sick on the food and water either,I know how to handle those ''kinds of situations'' cuhulin |

Which would explain why you were merely the *General Manager*. LMFAO dxAce Michigan USA |

In fact, only a few hundred US radio stations out of 14 thousand are in the name of an individual licensee... all the rest are companies of some kind. How else would the general manager of a radio station do a business card? Many general managers are also owners of the licensee corporation, but they don't put that on their card. |

Edweenie, with an ego as big as yours, if you were the owner you'd certainly have put that on your business card and you'd certainly have signed the QSL's that way as well. Same thing with the 'Eduardo' shtik, if it were true, that's the way you would have signed things, especially being in Latin America. However, as you and I both know, you were not an owner, nor are you 'Eduardo'. Now go get your panties out of those knots. |
