Ads which benefit the syndicator of Coast to Coast, not the local stations who have to carry the network spots for free. On the other stations carrying Crane ads, they are "PI" or Per Inquiry where the station gets a cut of any sales generated. Usually, each spot gets them a couple of dollars, which is fine since they can't sell spots at 1 AM. I'm not talking about Coast-to-Coast and that's not the point. Doing good radio for the sake of the art generates value. |
