Hang on
(Reuters) -- Tsunami warnings have been issued following a strong earthquake
with a preliminary magnitude of 7.8 jolted the South Pacific Ocean on Monday, Japanese media reported. Kyodo news agency said there was a possibility of tsunami in the Pacific Ocean after the earthquake which occurred near the Solomon Islands at 5:40 a.m. (2040 GMT) Japan time. |
