Default Review of Four Portable Shortwave Receivers

To the Group:

If you don't already subscribe to MONITORING TIMES (and I STRONGLY
recommend that you do so as well as subscribing to POPULAR
COMMUNICATIONS), you may wish to buy a copy of the May 2007 issue
which arrived here the other day.

The four mid-priced portables compared are the Grundig G4000A, the
Kaito KA-1103, the Grundig G5, and the Sony ICF-SW7600GR.

Todd Van Gelder's article and his comparisons are very interesting,
well thought-out, and well-written. The comparisons are quite
detailed.

It will give any prospective purchaser a good "feel" for the radios
compared and so allow him/her to make a more informed decision.

I think everyone here will enjoy it.

Best,

Joe
