JT and Dave just now said Grand Gulf nuclear power (Grand Gulf is near
Stennis Space Center, wayyyy down South of doggy's couch) plant is
down,,, since May 19.Something about a vacuum seal leak. The leak thingy
is being repaired. No danger has been reported.Other conventional power
plants are taking up the slack untill Grand Gulf gets back online.

Yea, some very nice pictures. A good linnk

The microphones are nice, but I bet a lot of money. Too much for
the budget operation I run. A guy I know turned me on to a $3 element
that they sell over at rad shack. I took all the guts out of my
Turner +2 cb radio and stuck one of those rad shack elements in. I
stuck a pair of 3904 transistors in for an amplifier. I run that into
an alesis nano compresser and a very small (3 frequency) equalizer. I
have been accused of broadcast quality audio.

microphone $5.00 used (came with cb radio but I scrapped it
out)
nano-compressor 35.00 used
Rad Shak element 3.00
graphic eq 0.00 Free (had to solder in a new 12v
regulator)
misc stuff 5.00 Foam in a can that Tim-Tron sold me on

So for less than 50bucks I got some real nice audio. Of course I run
a NEO-later modulator. It's a high frequency phase shift full bridge
zero voltage switched resonant modulator. Followed by a push-pull
resonant inverse class F rf deck.

thanks for link Cuhulin

Regards,
NEO
