Heavy traffic on 11175 Monday night June 25. One guy read phonetics pretty much non-stop for 30 minutes or so. He mentioned "Memphis" several times. Does Memphis even have an air base? Traffic has been so heavy that at times there are several transmissions occurring at the same time. Keep an ear tuned to this frequency. Something may be up! Doug The news this morning is that Northwest Airlines has canceled or delayed most of their flights out of Memphis today due to "weather and crew needs", whatever that means. I don't know if this is related to the 11175 traffic the previous night, and its probably paranoia to even speculate. But who knows, maybe there was a national security concern involving a NWA flight. |
