of media release, and then dropped charges....nothing ever has to be
proven. Nothing can ever be denied. And the stain on the accused's name
can never be removed. From that point everything done by either party
must become a show for the media.

Also a well played political move on the part of a Democrat DA, whose
supporters have admitted pressuring him into the case to get Rush out of
the neighborhood.

Like the GWB cocaine implication, I suspect there is far less to the
story than has to date been stated, or implied.

And in the Rush case, the star 'witness' admitted to selling her
story by the tabloids prior to being approached by the authorities.
Though I believe Rush when he admits to the addiction, and believe that
he's not lightning white, the handling of the accusation and the nature
of the claims of the witness point to more manufacture than fact.

Be that as it may, the Republicans are far more talented at
manufacture rather than fact, as per the Swift boatees & that "vast
right wing conspiracy" that followed the Clintons around for eight
years; I'm just waiting for them to get back in gear again... once we
decide on Hillary, Obama, Gore or whomever, the possiblities will be
rich with so much time to kill after super-duper Tuesday, early next
year.
