Reporting MCW signals.
Every evening, from 0600 to approx 0630 UTC, there is a strong
transmission in Modulated CW (no BFO required) heard in the Pacific Northwest ( Vancouver, B.C.) on freq 5800 kcs (yes !! in the 49 meter band). Sounds like machine sending at around 10 wpm, cypher, 5-letter groups. Anyone else hearing this, and does anyone know what this is all about ? VE7AFN. |

I just happened to catch a similar signal this morning, though at 3AM PDT and on 5759. [Too much coffee!] I recorded some and could upload it if anyone wants to hear it. |
