Default Reporting MCW signals.

Every evening, from 0600 to approx 0630 UTC, there is a strong
transmission in Modulated CW (no BFO required)
heard in the Pacific Northwest ( Vancouver, B.C.) on freq 5800 kcs (yes !!
in the 49 meter band). Sounds like machine sending at around 10 wpm,
cypher, 5-letter groups. Anyone else hearing this, and does anyone know
what this is all about ? VE7AFN.

I just happened to catch a similar signal this morning, though at 3AM
PDT and on 5759. [Too much coffee!] I recorded some and could upload
it if anyone wants to hear it.

Here is the audio. You need winamp or VLC (Videolan) to play ogg.

Yep. The real question... Is there anyone that dosent know what it is ???
I'd describe it as the poor man's... No wait... More to the point... The
third world's pitiful attempt at playing James Bond.

Where are those exploding cigars when you need 'em ???

Viva Fidel !!!
