Hi ACE. didn't see that. but, it's been a little

heavy here, on the newsgroup. i had hoped to lighten

conversation up a bit.

BTW, I didn't know you made it to Nam. what was your

ship? I was there- 68 to jan. 1,72. my teams base

camp was Firebase Hawk Hill on the Cama Rahn Bay

finger. and, i gave Mike/Mike training in Nha Tran

every couple months. I drank with a lot of sailors

at both places. we may have crossed trail. my unit

was B- 18th./ SF. the pocket patch was a white skull,

red eyes, with the words, "Lean on Chuck".

I was briefly on USS Ramsey, then DEG-2, later known as FFG-2, a Brooke Class
ship.

Ship names don't ring any bells. that was a long
