Heck, I'd heard earlier that it was the fault of Dick Cheney. He was down in the bunker, playing with the joystick and accidentally zapped the bridge. He had been trying to work up another Katrina class storm. dxAce Michigan USA |

Even though it was built in 1967 it will still be Bushs fault. :-) |

George and his brother were running coke to Minneapolis and they thought they were being followed, buried the stuff near one of the supports of the bridge, and boom, 40 years later the results of their digging brought the bridge down. |

Just like the sign on Truman's desk said-- "The buck stops here". It's called "responsibility". The *******s (Republican -or- Democrat) try to save money by deferring maintenance. Seeing as you didn't share the article with us, I think the point of your newspaper was that he was THE governor, not that he was a Republican governor. Why make it a political thing? |

However, given the choice of fixing our infrastructure, broken health care system and all of our needs on the home front, I'd vote for spending that half a trillion *here* rather than pouring it down that bottomless **** hole... |

I didn't write it. I only passed it on as an example of my earlier assertion. |
