Re-Reading and Trying Again . . .

The Perfect Feedline for Wire Antennas -by- John Doty
http://www.hard-core-dx.com/nordicdx...eed/feed1.html

Source : Hard Core DX .Com = http://www.hard-core-dx.com/

Per John Doty - "Construction:"

"The transformer is built around a toroid extracted from a TV
"matching transformer". "

"The transformer windings should be made with thin wi I use #32
magnet wire."

"The primary is 30 turns while the secondary is 10 turns."

OK - So Has Anyone Tried This ?

Everyone one of these 'tiny' little Two-Hole Ferrite Cores
that I have tried with the smallest Magnet Wire I can get
only results in a Primary of 6 Turns (12T) and a Secondary
of 2 (4) Turns for a 9:1 Ratio.

i want to know -cause- iane ~ RHF
