I heard a report....on shortwave radio, no less....in which one of
the wags on the Left said, and these are his words:


"It's easy when someone claims they stand for family values, truth,
integrity, morality, for everyone to point fingers when they fail to
live up to their own standards, such as Republicans have. Democrats
don't stand for any of that. So they can never be held to a standard as
having failed."



It was the most revealing comment I'd heard on BBC in a long time.
