I posted a receiver display pic of local station AM600 KOGO running
their HD at night showing how wide they are. 590 and 610 are no longer
usable. The center freq is surrounded on either side about 12.5 kc out
by the digital noise. Just to the left of that is 580 (KMJ?) and next 10
kc below is 570 KLAC. To the right is 620 KTAR then 630 unknown (KTKK?)
then 640 KFI.

This via 'Gary' on the Yahoo Drake R8 page:

"Some of my local Los Angeles stations are now broadcasting in IBOC
at night. One of them is KABC 790. I used to be able to listen to
KOH 780 Reno with minimal interference on my Sat 800 or E1XM with my
Quantum QX Pro ferrite loop by using LSB sync. Now the signal is
covered with IBOC hash from KABC. Oddly, tuning using USB sync works
somewhat better for reducing the IBOC hash, but not of course the
normal analog splatter. So far, I'm not enjoying IBOC at night."

Don't tell Dwardo that there's 2 of us in Los Angeles that liked to
listen to KKOH. What are the odds?
