Come to Minnesota, and you will find that they are pronounced
exactly alike, unless you are a recent European émigré in which case
'auto' may be pronounced 'ow-toe'.

BAJ - Just simplify your speech :

When you see "Auto" just say 'Car'

And call "Otto" by his "Last Name"
* Unless it is his last name then use his First Name instead.
