The answer is that they get a big increase in 25-54 listeners when on FM, as the under-55 crowd likes the programming, but hates the sound quality. When they get it on FM, they listen. I'm sure glad that the radio industry can afford to just toss away the largest segment of the population, with the most disposable income. No wonder so many businesses are going under, if that's the way they do business. |
