That's like my cousin's son. My cousin is of Colombian extraction. He married a Dominican lady. She died shortly after childbirth, so junior is being raised by the Colombian side of the family (my side). The child's way of acting, his mannerisms, expressions, idioms, accent, etc. are all Colombian; despite his being half Dominican. I doubt many here will understand how different the two cultures are... |

No, to get a passport you need to go in person the first time and TAKE two pictures, proof of citizenship and one picture ID. http://travel.state.gov/passport/passport_1738.html Most people don't have more than one piece of picture ID; usually it is a driver license or a state ID issued in place of a license. Most people don't pretend that they're Hispanic! Most people don't pretend that they had an amateur radio license! Most people don't pretend that they 'moved' to Mexico at age 13. Most people don't pretend that they owned radio stations. Most people don't pretend that they were forced out of Ecuador at gunpoint. I don't either. |

![]() "Telamon" wrote in message ... I went through a full check 13 years ago... and have no desire to change jobs, particularly to a place where people like you work. Yeah, I understand that feeling since you would have to display a high degree of integrity and that would be very hard for you. Actually, I applied with my current company using the resume that is online. Nothing has changed. Sounds like you will be looking for another job soon so you might want to dust off that resume. Why? I have a contract, work in a variety of markets and interesting situations and am quite satisfied where I am. |

REAL ID has not gone into affect yet, either. Please pay attention. |

I read on the web that the world was coming to an end yeaterday. That is not true, either. Why? I have a contract, work in a variety of markets and interesting situations and am quite satisfied where I am. Because things change. I work where I work because I enjoy it. When I stop enjoying it, I will stop working. |
