Actually, she was quite thrilled at what I did. She had been a very
independent woman, studying in France in the 20's, for example, and becoming
the first woman director of the county hospital system. Having her son do
something extraordinary was something she encouraged..

finest rock stations in America at the time. But today, he has little
influence in the industry. He wrote a book about the station and Cleveland
in the 70's.... which is at least a decade after their river caught fire.

The industry would be better served by returning to the days of local
control and DJ discretion. Might stop the bleeding somewhat.
