These chips will make no difference, as consumers do not buy radios anymore. Cell phones companies are not intereed in HD Radio, as Clear Channel tried to stream its staion on Sprint but gave up. I was in a Ford dealership today buying my boys a new car and the salesman got HD Radio mixed up with Satellite Radio and the guy in charge of installing HD radios had not installed a single one. They are however very excited about Sync, as they have to get "certified" in it before it comes out in 2008. Many of the Ford cars have factory-installed Satellite Radio sitting on the lots. LOL! |
