It's dead on AM and FM - other countries that are testing IBOC will
follow Canada'a suit.


It's already authorized in Brazil and the Philippines; Mexico authorized it
in the strip along the US border, too.

Doesn't mean they willll eventually use it - I heard tha Mexico is
positioning to jam the US back. Either way, no one, just like in the
US, is going to buy new HD radios.

Rede Globo in Brazil is installing dozens of stations, as is the
Chateaubriand Group, both AM and FM. Mexican border stations are already on.
