year on August 15th, I pointed out to Todd that his Omega One transmitter was almost certainly radiating too much power. I even supplied a back of the envelope calculation as proof. It turns out that the FCC agrees with me and has sent and enforcement letter to Mr. Daugherty. The full text of the letter is at the FCC web site located he http://www.fcc.gov/eb/AmateurActions...1_01_1161.html It says in part " ... Commission radio direction finding signals indicate that such transmissions were made form your location on 13.556 MHz at various dates in November 2006. This information raises serious questions regarding your qualifications to retain an Amateur license. Such unlicensed operation would also be a violation of Section 301 of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended, 18 U.S.C. S: 301, and would subject you to a monetary forfeiture (fine) or imprisonment, or both." Todd has dug himself into a hole, no matter what he and one supporter have argued in this forum, and now he's going to pay the price. |
