Default OT What I know so far

This is where I stand:

I have two kidney stones, one on each side. A fatty liver and an
enlarged Prostrate.

SO FAR.

I'll see the doctor Friday to find out about the blood test and
what to do to get the stones to turn lose and start moving.

I have had a kidney stone on the right side before so I know
what's in store as far as pain. AS to what to do about the "fatty liver" I'll
just have to wait and see.

I have to eat mostly protein because of my diabetes so this
helps cause some of my problems. I have been diagnosed 10 years and am still
doing very good because I take very good care of myself. Eating right and
exercise are very big parts of me still being alive.

All of you guys should have a little diabetes test, just pee in
the bottle and test with the strip, do it once a year or if diabetes is in
your family do it two or there times a year.

DENIAL IS THE WORST PART OF DIABETES, GET CHECKED.

And if you test positive get help!!

Merry Christmas

Burr

Man you are a very lucky person.
Not one,but two of the little suckers.

On a camping trip 30 years ago a friend found out the hard way
she had a kidney stone. We were 10 miles from anywhere and
it was 1:00AM. She vetoed me going for help, and it was along
ugly night. She passed the stone about 5:00AM and I rigged a
travois to haul her out. I don't want to go through that again.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Travois

A friend had a stone a month ago and they placed him in a
water bath and, by his words, "set of a stick of dynamite".
It reduced the stone to dust that passed "without incident".
He said it did burn like fire, but it was much better the his
previous experiences.

His kidney doc, nephrologist, warned him to lay off the
tea he so dearly loves. From the garbled explanation,
tea is a major source of kidney stones. Taking vitamin C
may help reduce the risk.

I do not envy your situation.
Take care and I hope this resolves itself pleasantly.

OK, I've done my home work. I can talk intelligently with the doctor
tomorrow (Maybe)

If I have NAFLD I have a long road ahead, if I just have Simple Fatty Liver
(steatosis) then it won't be so bad but I'll have to start a Behavior
Modification Program, I can't do more Physical Activity then I'm doing.

This is common among (long term)Diabetics.

I'll have to work very hard to save myself but I can do it, DO OR DIE
