NO, it is NOT. It is a twin coil antenna but NOT the same as the add
on. I have the radio and was suprised that medium wave reception is a
tad BELOW that of the CCRadio. It's a great radio. It's better on FM
than the CCRadio, and excellent on shortwave for a radio in this price
range. But the twin coil advertising CCrane is doing is very
misleading if not really misrepresenting the product.
