Looks like better build quality than Sat 800, but IIRC, it's a Tecsun
build.

RHF posted some info on this some months ago from Tecsun.

I kinda like the looks of most any receiver that has a real signal strength
meter these days.

I wonder if Drake is involved in the design.

We'll find out. I just sent an email to Bill Frost at Drake.

Certainly agree on the real S meter, and I do like the retro looks.
Now if we can get the radio to smell like a tube rig........someone
should make a candle that smells like a vintage tube receiver.

Just put an old Tube Rig under the Table and leave it on 24/7;

Not a bad idea! I would need to find some poor performer that I don't
mind burning up the tubes on. BTW....I think I am already cooking in
my own juices! ;-)

Plus the Eton E1 Radio is considered to perform better than
the Grundig Satellit 800 Millennium Radio in most aspects.
-ergo- The new Grundig Satellit 750 Radio should also perform
better than the Grundig Satellit 800 Millennium Radio in most
aspects.

IMHO - That would make it a pretty good $300 Radio. ~ RHF
