I got a r7a that is for sale or possible trade for an all mode
transeiver..Let me know what you got..
The receiver works on all bands except 14 and 28 mhz band..The freq display
is all over the place on these two bands..I had planned to send it off for
repair but never got around to it..Probably needs a good alignment..
The radio is in good condition for its age..If you want pics just email me
and I'll send them over..
Best offer over 400.00 or trade..

It sounds like the range function for the low band and high band VCOs is not
functioning. It could also need cleaning of all of those Molex connectors on
the DR-7 board. If you do get it repaired by John Kriner, this radio will go
from a "parts unit" to something that will bring you over 1000 dollars.
Right now, your current price will be about what you might get. If you do
get it repaired, you will still be able to get a transceiver and have money
left over.
