Doug,
The "Torus-Tuner" is a 16" diameter antenna shaped in a "loop" shape; it looks like a large "donut", and stands vertically in it's (wooden) base. To answer your question, yes, it would work well with your shortwave receivers. The output of the MFJ active antenna amplifier is a coaxial output, but it would work just fine if you were to simply connect it right to the whip antenna of either of your receivers. I'll e-mail you with a few URL's which will give you additional info on this loop antenna specifically, and some general info on loop antennas for receiving applications in general. Then if you should have any other questions, just e-mail me directly. Thanks & 73, -Bill KB3PT Selbyville, Delaware E-mail: wrote in message ... Bill. I'm very interested in this antenna; I am new to world band listening and have both a Sony 7600GR and Kaito KA2100. Would this antenna be compatible/work well with either or both of these? If so, I'm pretty sure I'll take it. Is it possible to send me a photo (to: )? As I said, I'm new to this and would like to see what it looks like. Thanks.
