the U.S. Today 5 huge corporations -- Time Warner, Disney, Murdoch's
News Corporation, Bertelsmann of Germany, and Viacom (formerly CBS) --
now control most of the media industry in the U.S. General Electric's
NBC is a close sixth. By the by, General Electric is one of the
country's largest defense contractors. Do you really think they were
going to report that the Shrub was lying about Iraq having wmd's? They
made hundreds of millions of dollars off the war.

"The fourth estate" has become "for the estate." Transnational
corporations and Governments being the "estate". "Whose bread I eat
whose song I sing."

Might have to agree with Wasabi breath. :-) His lead over Billary continues
to shrink and McCain has opened up a 8 pt lead over Obama. This gem should
help him immensely:

So you actually think CBS,NBC,ABC,MSMBC,CNN are fair and balanced? Fox is
FAR and AWAY more balanced that the liberal MSM has been in this election.

Step 1 is to only get real time news from the BBC, DW, RNI Kol Israel, VOA
or any other major non-com radio service. They are more careful about
reporting rumors and hearsay.

Step 2 is to watch the news only on You Tube, via your favorite trusted
blog. I suggest most of you use www.mediamatters.org as a default, just
so you can see how twisted up the mainstream media is.

Step 3 is to listen carefully to those in power and their noise machine.
They often speak the exact opposite of the truth; they accuse the
mainstream of being radicals and claim to represent the people. What
hooey.
