Also the noise pickup is lower with the feeder close to the ground -or- buried under the ground a few inches. -Why- The Antenna and the Balun are within the Local Noise Zone RFI & EMF {Interference Area} that surrounds most buildings up to distance of Five Metres (16 Feet).
