Been away for a few days in another city for a hockey tournament....
my son's team took the Alliance Provincial Championships.... way to go
boys.... got his stick autographed by Walter Gretzky, Wayne's
father... he's a great down to earth guy... hope he sticks around for
many more years.... Walter presented the awards too.
Bunch of hard skating, hard working young hockey players....My son
is fourteen... I got married really late in life.....

Got myself "fixed" after three boys..... oldest - 20, then
a 17 year old, then my 14 year old hockey player......that's
enough.... I'm getting too old for this stuff...... should have gotten
married when I was younger instead of waiting until my late
thirties.....be hitting sixty before too long...

1964, my eight years older brother (God rest his soul) and I were in
Vietnam in 1964.His second Tour of Duty in Vietnam, following a year in
Germany.He was a Helicopter Mechanic at Vung Tau.I once caught the
Chaplin Run one Sunday (in a made in Canada, U.S.Army DeHavilland
Airplane.Short Take Off and Landing Airplane) to go over there and visit
him.Over there, you HAD to get way up in the air as fast as possible.
