I would think if Google cared about people spamming Usenet, they'd
have done something about it already.

I give them credit for dumping one bona fide lunatic who was using
gmail to email me and several people sharing my name her paranoid
rantings, but the Usenet spam from China just keeps on coming for days
on end.
