Hello John,
I am looking at both of these radios and they seem to be identical. CC Crane has the one year warranty, and the Redsun comes from Chinese distributors with BIG shipping charges! I know that you have one of the 2100's. How is it on the MW band? I find myself listening exclusively to the BCB. This radio has both a 10kc/9kc switch for DX'ing the European stations. I value your opinion. Thanks, Bob Grimes -- |

Hi Bob,
The RP2100 is quite the nicest and most used portable I have ever owned and that's lots of them. I bought mine from Tquchina on eBay and he has sold thousands with a 100% positive feedback = his service is fantastic. A Kaito KA2100 is also available in the States if you shop around a bit = do some searching. The RP2100 is just fantastic on the AM BCB MW reception - see my review at: http://www.dxing.info/community/view...hp?f=16&t=2434 Good luck John Plimmer, Montagu, Western Cape Province, South Africa South 33 d 47 m 32 s, East 20 d 07 m 32 s Icom IC-7700, Icom IC-756 PRO III with MW mods Drake SW8.
