The Instruction Manual for the above has been posted at:
http://www.ab4oj/icom/ic7200/int.html Scroll to bottom of page and click on manual PDF. Manual is close to 100 pages of printout. FCC certification for this Ham rig was granted on July 28/08. Now to burn some midnight oil checking out this new DSP rig which has a huge range of bandwidths for all modes -no extra crystal filters to buy. And 200 memories. Wonder what the price will be... Drool.... Good listening and operating to all from SW4ever... |

Drool.... Good listening and operating to all from SW4ever... Looks like a replacement for the IC-746PRO = similar size and similar features. Price probably in that bracket too. Will make a lovely top end HF SW receiver. Sadly, also attenuated on the MW band below 1700 kHz by 11 dB. Not at all a bad price, considering all they've packed into it feature-
wise. I'll be interested in reading the reviews, as they emerge. junius Universal shows a price of $1099.95... http://www.universal-radio.com/catalog/hamhf/0026.html dxAce Michigan USA Drake R7, R8, R8A and R8B 70' and 200' wires GE SR I, II and III PRO-2045 and BC895XLT And as always, don't do business with The Huntington Investment Company. |

I was actually surprised by the price myself. I had been giving some consideration to getting a '718, but may have to think it over some more. junius Universal shows a price of $1099.95... http://www.universal-radio.com/catalog/hamhf/0026.html dxAce Michigan USA Drake R7, R8, R8A and R8B 70' and 200' wires GE SR I, II and III PRO-2045 and BC895XLT And as always, don't do business with The Huntington Investment Company. |
