If I'm listening to a weak station with bassy audio...and that IS
a PITA to understand...That's when the PBS comes in real handy.
Tighten up the filters, and displace the passband toward one of the
sidebands. That lightens up the audio considerably. Sync generally
doesn't unlock, although that varies with the receiver.



I gotta tell ya...after years of playing with SW-2, this R8A is
an entirely different animal. And it does take some getting used to.
In the same way that moving from a V45 Magna to a Road King takes a
little getting used to.

And boy wouldn't THAT just suck.
