"Last year was an unusual year when wind currents and other weather
conditions coincided with global warming to worsen sea ice melt, Serreze
said. Scientists wondered if last year was an unusual event or the start
of a new and disturbing trend.

This year's results suggest the latter because the ice had recovered a
bit more than usual thanks to a somewhat cooler winter, Serreze said.
Then this month, when the melting rate usually slows, it sped up
instead, he said."

It affects everyone. The thermohaline circulator requires a precise mix
of cold/warm/salt/fresh water in the oceans near Greenland. If the
circulator changes famines ensue.

Interesting propaganda. Like Noah Wylie whining about the
impending doom of the polar bears. 95% of which have migrated south
into the populated areas of Canada, btw. Why? Because they were all
fans of the late Sam Kinison who said, "there'd be no starvation if
everybody'd just MOVE TO WHERE THE FOOD IS!"

Notice that this polar sea ice story is about this year...the
SECOND lowest level of sea ice since records began in 1979.

No one mentioned last year that it was the LOWEST level of sea
ice since 1979.

Which suggests what even the so-called 'experts' have been
admitting now for three years is true: that the warming has stopped
and cooling has begun.

Even the global warming zealots have admitted, in the face of
their own data, there has been no warming since 1998.

And Al "I'm going to rule the goddamned country if I have to
manufacture a panic to do it" Gore has even admitted that the
warming has subsided. Now claiming that in 10 years there will be
explosive warmth, and we'll all be doomed.

For this religion, the worship never ends. Even when the mythos
has been exposed.

NOAA has said that the warmest year on record was not 1996 as had
been stated by the global warming movement, but rather 1934. When
the only SUV on the road would be the Chevy Suburban, a year away. A
point that Al "I'm not going to argue this issue, so don't EVEN
think of putting me at a table with anybody other than a sympathetic
interviewer" Gore refuses to explain.

Ice core samples from both poles as well as core samples from
every continent have been pointing to the fact that the warmest
period in Earth history was 700 years ago, when all the Hummer
dealers were closed.

Global climate, as everything on this planet, is in constant
flux. It's cyclic in nature, shows some parallels to sunspot cycles
(just like the hole in the ozone) and long trends over time show the
climate to be cooling.

Arianna "I only take private jets, but it's no big deal because
they're going that way anyway" Huffington is an airhead.

Steve Forbes is a useful idiot who's very good in business.

You didn't read the story very carefully. It clearly states that the
ice is still melting and this may still end up as the year with the
least ice. When GM started making their Suburban-esque vehical it was
called the Carry All. I used to drive one. When gas was 75 cents a gallon.

There are variations due to solar cycles, wars, volcanoes, but the
moving average is going up; regardless of your denials. Anybody can
excise a little piece of a trend to attempt to prove a point, and the
gullible will gladly play along.

The Suburban was introduced in 1935 as the Suburban CarryAll. You
may want to brush up.

If you believe this global warming crap you have a lot to learn. The
time spans for climate change span many thousands of years and have
occurred throughout history cold to hot and hot to cold. These changes
have had nothing to do with man actions. Based on the record through
hundreds of thousands of years climate history we are at the end of a
warming trend and headed for the next ice age. It will be decades before
we know for sure about the current trend. This trend however it turn out
will not even be modified by what man does as the forces of nature that
control these trends dwarf anything mankind does.

Global warming is about control by the ruling elite exemplified by Al
Gore nothing more.
