In any case, factually, what he advocates is not illegal. Like most people on the radio, his goal is to fill a nitch and entertain, which of course leads to earning a living. Like Limbaugh. Bruce |

I listen to Rush once in a great while and also his web site is devoid of socially immoral material unlike Leykis. Just checkout the front page. http://www.blowmeuptom.com/ I think we need to recognize that your statement is an opinion and not a fact. In any case, factually, what he advocates is not illegal. I admit that what I said is my opinion, except for the "not illegal" part. I may object to Leykis' material (and in fact I do think it is beyond good taste at least, and geared toward people who respond to the lowest common denominator) - but I *feel* (to repeat the word and bring your attention to the fact that I am not presenting it as anyting but an opinion) that Limbaugh does the same thing. He may be more subtle (and sometimes not), but one thing he does not do is appeal to the cerebrum. He goes for the gut - it is a trademark of the right-wing discussion. Bruce |

This is still all your opinion, purely - PURELY subjective, and if you present it as anything but, you are being disingenuous at best. Of course it is my opinion. Your opinions may be subjective but what I publish here is demonstrably objective. He was years ago and he is today. There is no argument about this as all you need to do is take a look at his web page. Limbaugh does nothing of the sort that I am aware of. I'm not a regular Rush listener as he has to much fluff on his program for my taste. I have never been offended by something I have heard on Rush's program or seen offensive content on his web site. Leykis has that stuff right on the front page. You don't have to go looking for it. I got a question for you Bruce. Why do you feel the need to defend sleaze bags like Leykis? -- Telamon Ventura, California |
