He's 60 miles West of me. I am one valley (and a dry riverbed) North of
the Sylmar fire. I am 1,750' higher than Telemon. It is 6 AM and
already 71 degrees. Ahh, Autumn in the Southland...

When I'm home I'm on 395 just south of Ridgecrest.

I know the neighborhood. There's an LPTV site there that covers pretty
near covers the whole Antelope Valley.

I grew up in Phoenix, then lived in Texas for 20 years. Santa Clarita
is just fine, as long as it gets cold at night.
